Brass and Venice Collection - Milan
Reading time: 3'
This captivating collection is fashioned of hand-blown Murano glass using the "bollinato" technique, with a myriad of air bubbles of various sizes trapped inside the molten glass with burnished brass powder. The mix of air and brass create a distinctive textured surface. Introduced in Paris at Maison & Objet fair, these vases evoke the warm colors of Venetian autumns in a striking ensemble of light and color. Unique and exclusive, they will stand out on a dark wood surface or above a mantelpiece were the light reflections will enhance its richly detailed texture.
Part of a collaborative artistic project with Les Ottomans, introduced at the international fair Maison & Objet in Paris, this collection is an exercise in aesthetic balance and visual harmony. These sophisticated glass vases evoke the refined elegance of the Serenissima and the Ottoman Empire, recalling the glamour of past centuries, when the Serenissima was a powerful sovereign state and maritime republic. Meticulously handcrafted by Murano glass masters, the collection boasts a delicate mix of colors, patterns and geometrical shapes. A stand-out accent in any decor, these chalice-inspired vases do not need to host flowers to display their elegance.
